Kris is devoted to protecting the rights of his clients and treating every client with respect. DUI and Criminal charges can be frightening. Kris guides his clients through the process while crafting a fact driven defense for each case.
Kris is a graduate of Smith County High School and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2008. He earned his law degree at Nashville School of Law and is licensed to practice law in Tennessee. While attending law school, Kris Oliver was the Rutherford County General Sessions Criminal Court Law Clerk for Judge David Loughry for two years before starting his law practice. This experience in General Sessions Criminal Court provides Kris with in-depth experience of how the Criminal Court operates from a judge's perspective.
Kris also brings a wide array of experience to his practice through years of employment in other areas. He grew up working on his family's farm in Smith County, raising crops and cattle. Kris worked as a construction superintendent in Murfreesboro, building over one hundred homes. He also worked for the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development prior to beginning his legal career.
Kris offers a General Practice with experience in many areas of the law but normally focuses on Criminal Defense including: DUI, Drug Charges, Assault, Theft, Domestic Assault, and Seizure Proceedings with the Department of Safety.
Kris Oliver is licensed to Practice in all Tennessee courts and United States District for the Middle District of Tennessee.
